Discipline and Safety

Rigid discipline standards ensure the safety of all students during their bus rides. Bus drivers have complete authority over passengers and expects students to adhere to all bus rules and procedures. Remember: school bus transportation is a privilege, not a right. Any behavior jeopardizing safety will result in immediate suspension from the bus, including first-time offenses. Parents/guardians must arrange alternative transportation to and from school if suspended.

Bus Ride Rules

• All school rules apply during bus rides to and from school and transportation to school events.
• Students must board and disembark at their assigned stops only. The bus will stop only at scheduled stops.

Bus Arrival

• Students must be at their designated bus stop 10 minutes before the scheduled arrival time.
• All students must ride their assigned school bus.

Alternative Bus Stop Requests

• Parents requesting a change in their child’s bus stop must inform the school office in writing, via email, or by a phone call before noon on the day of the change.
• Please include a contact phone number in the request.
• Students must possess a bus pass issued by the school office before boarding an alternate bus.
